Ranch House minutes – February 10, 2020
The regular monthly meeting of the Ranch House 4-H club came to order at 6:00 p.m. at the Routt County Exhibit Hall February 10th, 2020
Brody Frentress led the American Pledge and Peyton Estes led the 4H Pledge
Conley Valora, the Treasurer, took role. Twenty-one members responded to role call.

The Vice President, Peyton Baker, read the date to the next meeting March 9th, 2020.
Tami came and informed the members of “What to Except of your First Year in 4H” Introduced herself, spoke about the Extension Staff and their roles, went of the Town Kid Project record books, Exhibit Day and events and dates,
Under old business we discussed the purchase of a 4H Pledge Banner, Kristen purchased a banner off of the 4H Shop and everyone was good with it. Also discussed making St Patrick Day Center Pieces at our March meeting for the Residents at the Haven. Kristen will contact Vicki to take the lead on this and gathering supplies.

The regular monthly meeting of the Ranch House 4-H club came to order at 6:00 p.m. at the Routt County Exhibit Hall December 9th, 2019

There was no old business to be discussed.
Under new business we discussed, any elections questions. Elections will take place at our January meeting and planting Memorial Trees at the Fair Grounds
JD Case made a motion the club to purchase a banner with the 4H Pledge, seconded by JD Case, motion passed. Kristen will do some research and come back to the club with some options and prices.

Peyton Estes made a motion to enter a tree for the Tree Festival, seconded by Brody Frentress, motion passed.
Peyton Estes made a motion for the budget for Monica to purchase supplies for the tree for the Tree Auction of $100, seconded by JD Case, motion passed
Braden Jenrich made a motion for Kristen to spend $15 for the entry fee to enter a tree and centerpiece into the Tree Auction, seconded by Brayden Cushing-Baker, motion passed

July 7, 2019 Tour Day
After visiting member’s houses the club had a short meeting.
There was no correspondence.
Under old business we discussed, 4H/FFA Fair Registration and Exhibit Day Entry and
Sign up.
Turning in Member Contracts and Animal Housing forms
Flood Day, Checking Pig Waters, Ag Experience, and BBQ shifts for fair
Under new business we discussed the fair parade
Our next meeting will be August 5th at 6pm at the Exhibit Hall.

June 11, 2018
The regular monthly meeting of the Ranch House 4-H club was called to order at 6:03 pm by President, Lexi Webber in the Exhibit Hall in Hayden, Colorado. The pledges were led by Gracie Day and Brayden Cushing-Baker.
The minutes of the last meeting were led by Secretary, Faith Day.
The Treasurer’s Report was read by Kollen Decker. Vice President, Makayla Iacovetto read when the next meeting would be, which is Your Day, July 8.
Old business was fun ideas for the club, FFA Ag Experience barn. Rusty Baker would help work Thursday 10am-2pm as will Jessica Baker. We also discussed Flood Day volunteers.
Under new business, Tour Day dates, Record book checks at the next meeting, and checking the pig waters with Goodtimes 4-H club. The Tour Day date was motioned by Cecil Gregory for July 8 at 9am, seconded, and passed. We will be starting at the Gregory’s house at 9 am July 8. Motioned by Cecil Gregory and seconded by Kim Gray. Passed. We discussed having a potluck at Tour Day, was moved and seconded, passed. First year members would bring dessert and everyone else would bring side dishes. The club will provide paper products and meat. Record book checks will be done on July 8 also. Make sure to bring Thank yous and invitations for the BBQ. The swine waters will be done on August 2 at 6pm. Motioned by Tessa and seconded, vote passed.

April 9, 2018
At the regular monthly meeting of the Ranch House 4-H club was called to order by President, Lexi Webber at 6 pm. In the Hayden High School Auditorium. The pledges were led by Tessa Bocco and Tommy Webber. There were 25 members who responded to roll call.
The Treasurer’s report was read by Kollen Decker
Vice President, Makayla Iacovetto read the date of the next meeting which would be at highway clean up in May.
There was no correspondence or bills to be discussed
Under old business we talked about fun activities to do, Brody handed in another fun activity – Thunder Rolls Bowling in Craig: 1 game and shoes is $5 per person, 1 game, shoes and drink is $6.25 per person, 2 games, shoes and drink is $9.25 per person. Gregory’s handed in Elitches: $39.99 per person with online purchase which saves $15 per ticket and allows access to the water park. Kids 2 and under are free. Preseason football game: season is being released this month. Baseball game: $31-$58 per seat. There are several games throughout the season. Cheyenne Frontier Days: Maybe take in a rodeo, tickets for Saturday rodeo July 28th is $49-$139 per ticket. Water World: Kids under 40” are free, 40”-47” are $47 + tax and 48” and above are $42 + tax. They have discounts available by purchasing online or at the front rage King Soopers. Boondocks: There are group packages that include 3 hours unlimited access to all activities, go carts, ropes, bowling, etc and lunch is $25 per person. These are the activities to choose from: Elitches, Preseason Football, Baseball Game, Cheyenne Frontier Days, Water World, Boondocks, Thunder Rolls Bowling, Jump Street in Greenwood Village, Zoo, Museum of Nature and Science (Museum and Planetarium Only), Bananas, Science Museum in Grand Junction, Trampoline at the Silo, promotion items like hats and sweatshirts or signs/stickers for houses and cars instead of a fun activity, or going somewhere after fair like bowling to celebrate.
Under new business we discussed sponsorship forms that are due May 1st, the date of Highway clean up, MQA, and sheep and swine weigh in. Mandy Moore got us information on when Murdoch’s could use us for the BBQ they provide and when we would need to do shifts. We will be cleaning Hawthorne and County Road 37 Friday May 11th after school. Pizza will be provided. May 10th – MQA (Meat Quality Assurance Training) – 6-7pm at the Steamboat Community Center. MQA is a required training for all first year livestock members AND first year senior livestock members. If you can’t attend our MQA please plan on attending a surrounding county MQA: May 5th, 1pm, Eagle County Fairgrounds, May 10th, 6-7pm, Steamboat Community Center, May 17th, 6pm, Jackson County, May 18th, 1pm, Grand County
May 29th, 6pm, Eagle County at Alpine Bank. May 14 – Sheep/Goat weigh in from 4-6pm at the Routt County Fairgrounds in Hayden. There is a $5 per animal fee to weigh-in (cash or checks made out to RC 4-H). You must have a weigh-in form completely filled out for each animal before you put your animal on the scale. These forms can be found on the website. May 15 – Swine weigh in from 2-6pm at the Routt County Fairgrounds in Hayden. Elk River Wranglers will be hosting a dinner concession stand during swine weigh-in. Plan on grabbing a bite to eat while waiting to weigh-in and support our local 4-h club.

February 12, 2018 Club Meeting
The regular meeting of the Ranch House 4-H club was called to order by President, Lexi Weber at 6:02 p.m. in the Hayden High School Library. The pledges were led by Hailey Archuleta and Makayla Iacovetto. There were 23 members who responded to role call. The Secretary, Faith Day read the minutes from the January meeting. There was no correspondence, or reports from an committees. The Vice President, Makayla Iacovetto read the date of the next meeting- March 12, 2018 at 6 p.m. in the Hayden High School Auditorium. We also discussed the pizza bill for that night.
There was no old business to be discussed. Under new business we discussed Sponsorship forms for 2018. When the next council meeting would be – March 7, 2018 at 7 p.m. at the Haven. Also we discussed sending out thank yous to our sponsors from this year so we can have them continue to come back.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:15 p.m.
However following the meeting we made our centerpieces for the residents at the Haven for Valentine’s Day.

May 2017 Club Meeting
Meeting for Ranch House 4-H club was called to order at 6:05pm May 8th & ended at 6:35pm. Discussed was questions out of the manual & pig weigh in. Kim Grey did her demonstration on how to knit. We also gave reminder of road clean up on Sage Creek Road in Hayden.

The Ranch House meeting was called to order at 6:05pm and ended at 6:50pm.
Old business was the cog run & reconfirm highway clean up.
New business was the leaders meeting & setting people up to work the Murdochs fundraiser.
Tree planting was then talked about. We then had a demonstration by Wade Kemry.

March 6 2017 Club Meeting
Ranch house 4-H meeting was called to order at 6:05 & ended at 6:25.
It was discussed, motioned & approved that May 12th at 5pm ranch house will be doing road clean up on sage Creek Road.
Alex & Gracie are our volunteers to hand out waters for the cog run on May 6th.

February 6 Club Meeting
At 6:07 the meeting was called to order.
A bill was presented from Shannon Valora for flowers. Tommy moved & Tristan approved.
We discussed a paper to fill out on complaints with the record book judging.
All the kids made valentine center places for the Haven.
