What is a Yampavore?  A person whose diet consists of food locally grown in the Yampa Valley.

You can find Yampa Valley products in these retail locations:

  • Community Ag Market: The CAA Market is a local food market in downtown Steamboat that sells all local food and products.  Support your farmers and ranchers and eat local food! Be a Yampavore and stop by the market at 743 Oak St. OR Pre-order through the CAA Market online Tuesday at 8:30am through Saturday at 11:30pm. This allows you to shop from the widest amount of inventory available and select exactly what you want from hundreds of local products.
  • Steamboat Farmers Market: Saturday’s between June 10th and September 23rd from 9am to 2pm on 7th and Yampa Street. The Main Street Steamboat Farmers Market features fresh fruit and vegetables each week, many of our vegetable vendors are from right here in Steamboat, but a lot of folks drive in from Palisades or the front range to round out our selection. We focus on food and offer a wide variety of local and cottage industry products. You can pick up fresh bread and pies, local beef, bison, pork and lamb as well as jams, syrups and even horseradish.  It’s a great place to stop for lunch as well. You can grab a Gyro sandwich or a Ham Crepe or some smoked salmon. But if you are really hungry pick up some award winning BBQ, have a seat and listen to some local Steamboat Spring musicians.
  • Yampa Farmers Market: Held May 27, June 24, July 29, August 26, and September 30. 10am until 2pm at River Park. Located on the Southeast side of Moffat Street in Yampa.
